The Foundation for Life Guides for Autism is undergoing some major changes - all good and all for a major improvement in our impact with autistic culture and communities. Also, we're semi-finalists for MassChallenge Texas, and in the running for startup funding. More to follow soon!
Our 501 (c) (3) non-profit, The Foundation for Life Guides for Autism provides a vital voice for change in the way the culture sees autism. We're all about engagement with individuals, workplaces, and we will settle for no less than to grow the vision of true neurodiversity in our culture. We're the cultural engagement arm of Life Guides for Autism and our mission is to change the conversation about autism so that autistic people can realize inclusivity, true neurodiversity now - and in the future.
Our Board of Directors is unique in many ways among charitable organizations / non-profits working with persons on the autism spectrum - we have autistic persons serving on our Board leadership, knowing that the true experts in autism are autistic persons themselves. While most autism oriented non-profits willfully ignore autistic adults, we embrace the whole person and seek to build bridges, change the future for autistic persons of all ages.
We're delighted to welcome Christa Holmans, to serve in leadership with the Foundation for LIfe Guides for Autism! Christa is passionate about representing autistic persons, reaching our goal of true neurodiversity.
